Augusta City Enterprises, or ACE, is dedicated to making downtown shine. There’s never been a more crucial time in the city’s history to put our best foot forward. As more and more interest in economic development looks toward our historic city center, it’s imperative we encourage investment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

ACE coordinates with multiple departments within the city government to improve and maintain the landscape and infrastructure conditions on Broad Street and its side streets from 13th to 5th. With your help, we can expand our footprint and offerings.

Our Footprint

2023 Improvements

Set to begin in Q4 of 2022, major improvements are coming to Broad Street. These include leveling of the sunken parking, more green spaces, and resurfacing of roads as well as leveling and repouring sidewalks and all new landscaping. Starting on 5th and working down to 13th, these positive changes will temporarily impact parking, but businesses will remain up and running. Be sure to check back here for updates on progress with this SPLOST funded project.
